Steppenwolf updates-

The study that Andrew shared with us stopped at the early 2000s. I was curious to see how they have fared over the past 10 years. I found some interesting studies and am sharing it in case you are interested –

Also another note –

A graduate of Roosevelt University’s Theatre Conservatory has been named as the principal financial and administrative officer in charge of operations at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre Company. David Schmitz, a 2001 Master of Fine Arts in Theatre graduate who also has a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Roosevelt University, will oversee all management and operations at Steppenwolf beginning in January 2015.  (http://www.roosevelt.edu/News_and_Events/News_Articles/2014/20141021-Schmitz.aspx)

Thanks for the links! I was also curious to delve into more recent data and also found them on NFF’s “Change Capital” pages. Here is a link to some videos that highlight Steppenwolf’s use of change capital in the ongoing process to create future sustainable programs: http://nonprofitfinancefund.org/case-change-capital-arts/casestudies#steppenwolf. They touch a little bit on their Garage Rep program in the video.
